A bit of Mossy summer style

31 Aug

Phew, late season heatwave in south London today (and the rest of London I imagine)! I spent it chilling on Clapham Common, reading Grazia, and stuffing my face with picnic food. Perfect!

Anyway, I’m excited that this extended period of sun gives me a small window to try out a bit of style inspiration from this particular issue of Grazia from a couple of weeks ago…

There’s a whole double page spread of how fabulous Kate Moss has been looking this summer – well, doesn’t she always?! So, while the weather’s still being friendly and I’m still not bored of fake-tanning, here are Kate Moss’ summer 2013 style rules that I shall cling to for the next couple of weeks at least…

Floaty, floral maxis – Kate does them for day and night. This look is just dreamy…

Here’s a good version…

£25, Boohoo

Make like Kate and team it with a black blazer. I like this, too, for a more casual look…

£22, Oasis It’s in the sale!

Stripes with black – whether it’s s stripy top and black shorts, or stripey shorts and a black top, this is a combo Kate loves.

You don’t need me to tell you where to get stripey T-shirts, but for the stripey shorts, I think these are great…

£12.75, Forever 21

Manly shirts – With grey skinnies, cargo shorts, even over a bikini, for Kate, the shirt is the new T-shirt.

You can’t beat Gap for copying this look…

£29.95, Gap

£34.95, Gap

Western style – fringing, suede, Navajo prints – Kate’s going cowboy!

Here’s what Asos has to offer on this theme…

£45, Asos

£35, Asos

For evening, always an LBD – but with a difference. Be it sheer, polka-dotted panels, off the shoulder styles, zips, or a sequin embellished maxi, make sure your LBD stands out. Paired with a classic, pointy, black court, or jazzed up with multi-coloured strappies.

£19.99, H&M

£49.99, Zara

That’s me sorted for a couple of weeks! Thanks, Mossy!
